At Nottingham Stamp Centre Ltd, we offer a discounted 2nd Class postage option. Perfect for everyday mailing needs, our stamps offer a budget-friendly way to handle your correspondence.

How does it work?

We provide discounted 2nd Class postage by combining 3 or 4 lower value stamps to reach the 2nd Class postage rate, which is currently 85p. These stamps are sold in packets of 10 stamps, so you’ll need to use one stamp from each packet to cover the postage cost. All stamps are commemorative (pictorial) and are thoroughly checked for authenticity. Our ability, as a dedicated stamp shop, to source stamps at lower prices allows us to provide you with a worthwhile discount on your postage.

Is this allowed?

Yes. A 2nd Class stamp, marked with '2nd,' is an NVI (Non-Value Indicator) stamp. This means it represents a postage rate that can change over time, currently set at 85p. To meet the 2nd Class postage requirement, simply affix 85p worth of stamps to your mail. This can include any unused commemorative (pictorial) stamps issued since the decimalisation of stamps in 1971, as well as unused barcoded stamps.
