Feature

Coins and Coin Covers

At Nottingham Stamp Centre Ltd, our main focus is on stamps and postal history. However, we also offer a selection of coins and coin covers, primarily of British origin. Our collection includes a variety of British coinage and commemorative items for those interested in numismatics.

What is a coin cover?

A coin cover is a special type of collectable that combines a coin with a commemorative envelope. The envelope typically features a thematic design and postage stamps that complement the coin, usually marking a significant event, anniversary, or cultural theme. The coin, often limited edition or specially minted for the occasion, is embedded in the cover, making it a unique and attractive collectable for both coin and philatelic enthusiasts. Coin covers are valued for their artistic presentation and the historical or cultural significance they commemorate.
